The answer depends on your technical skills and what you’re comparing the quote too. To me it’s highway robbery because I did that job myself on my last 4Runner in around 2-3 hours including changing out the rear springs. If your frame of reference is comparing it to another installation quote, others may be more helpful.

I think it's a reasonable price. They're disassembling your OEM shocks and using your springs I assume? Full removal, install, and lets not forget liability and warranty which is factored into every single aspect of any job. Then the alignment which is $100-$125 give or take. Are they mounting and balancing your new tires? I charge $115 an hour at my shop as a point of reference so all said and done, you're covering 4-5 hours of labor and sales tax .

Stock size? If so, think long and hard. I thought about lifting and waiting to install bigger tires. I went up 3" front and rear using the ToyTec Ultimate kit and it looked ridiculous. Looked the it skipped leg day lol.
Lol. Currently running 275/55/20. Planning only 1.75 clip with 1” rear spacer. Looking for a leveled stance.

It meant I wasn't sure to the dollar. But that was close. I bought the parts at an off road shop and had them installed at the dealer where I bought the 4Runner. Labor there was quoted at $469. Toyota would probably charge you a little more than a shop would for the parts.

Thats a little bit more than what I paid when I had my 5100's installed and a T13 rear coil, but not much. But let me throw out my 2 cents. I had the 5100's put on 6 months ago. I had Kings put on last Sunday. If you have the money, and do anything more that driving on the street, spend the money.
If you are set on getting the 5100's, interested in a used set of 4, with front coil attached at 1.75" of lift and 8000 miles on them?
