Installed 17x8 Konig Six Shooters from FN Wheels

these wheels look great proquip, i am currently considering ordering the countersteer x in graphite like the 6 shooters. i guess the opposite of what you did, i just want the updated fit of the type x. can you comment on how the wheels finish is holding up? is there a clearcoat like on the factory konigs? they put some nasty stuff on the roads up here in edmonton. :canada:

Our custom powder coated wheels do include a clear coat as well as the color powder coat. We use a locally renowned powder coater who has been in the paint / powder coating / plating business for 30 years.

We will be offering the 17x8" Konig Countersteer Type X wheels in graphite gunmetal as a factory finish later this year (awaiting the first delivery from Konig). If you can hang in there until then, it might be worth your while to order the wheels as a factory finish to not incur any additional costs for custom powder coating.

Reviving an old thread

Just got these. Graphite Gunmetal (looks like gloss black metallic). This is the 2016 FN six shooter 17x8. The biggest changes are that they are flow formed cast and now accept the TRD center cap. Thanks FN!

I do not believe the 2016 wheel has changed spec-wise:
17 x 8
21 Lbs
0mm Offset
6 x 139.7mm Bolt pattern (P.C.D.)
4.5" backspacing
Colors:
Graphite Gunmetallic (shown)
Matte Black
Matte Bronze
Color matched center cap included
or add $20 total for TRD caps

Wednesday I'll be switching over to these FNs on my new-to-me '14 Super White SR5 4x4 . . . I'll be posting pics. :thumb3:

I just confirmed with Dustin from FN today via text, these are the only FN wheels in this bolt pattern that are flow formed

P.SI've been driving myself crazy going back and forth between f(x) Pros and Six Shooters for months. I think the photos of your truck just sealed the deal for graphite Six Shooters... with the TRD center caps.

I've got Super White also, and the combination just looks awesome!

That's awesome! You'll like the color combo even better in person. The Graphite is gorgeous!

I get compliments from everyone. Whether they're into cars/trucks or not. I like how they look like they could be factory.

I also was originally dead set on getting the f(x) Pros. Until I talked to Dustin and realized how much lighter these were and that FN started making them to fit the TRD cap as well as being flow formed.

I did read that article before I bought mine . . . great idea to add it here!

They're out of stock at the moment, but Dustin was kind enough to put me on the list for the next shipment.

When I saw the previous photos of the gunmetal on a Super White like mine, I knew I had finally made my decision.

They're about 4 weeks out, so I'm looking forward to their arrival.

As of this moment, I'll be putting Toyo OC II's on them, in stock size... I'll post when they arrive...

It's funny, because [MENTION=65825]proquip[/MENTION] 's truck and his wheels/tires inspired me to pull the trigger on the 6 Shooters.

To me it's fun to see others find some wheels they like or the information they're looking for on here to help them make the choice.

Great tire choice, BTW. That's one of the tires on my short list. Looking forward to seeing yours mounted up!

I'm not really on the forum much these days. Just saw this - thanks for the kind words!

No lift. Stock size C-rated BFG KO2s. Love my tires and FN wheels!!! I get so many compliments.

285-70-17 load range E on matte black six shooters. Im super happy with the fit finish and of course Dustin was next level on customer service. Veryminimal rubbing on fender liner. Quick fix with minimal trimming. *Install tip- install center cap and snap ring before installing wheels on the 4Runner.
