I ran 275/70/17 KO2s on my TRD Pro for almost 3 years on all sorts of different terrain and never ever had an issue rubbing. Ever.

I’m guessing the extra 1.5” in width plus the different offset will rub and create a problem at full articulation. I have 275-70-17 KO2’s on the oem Pro wheels without a lift and no problem. The Pro suspension is 1” higher than the other 4Runners, so, that little difference helps with the narrow Pro wheel and offset to the inside. Would be interested also if this size/offset works on a Pro with 275’s.

I didn’t run the 275s on the Ray10, but I’m fairly confident you’ll have rubbing issues due to the additional width of the wheel and the negative offset.

I think it is unlikely. I have a 1.5” lift over what the Pro has and am rubbing pretty significantly on the driver’s side body mount.

I went through your posts and found a picture of your rig. It looks great! I love the combo, stance, rack, etc. I just bought my Pro after having my ‘01 4Runner for over 17 years. The first thing I did was change out the tires for some KO2’s in a 275. I told myself leave it alone. Don’t go crazy with a lift and 285’s and more like my old one. Then I look at yours and I start dreaming again.

Thanks for the compliments! Other than the Gobi and 275s that I just swapped out, I left mine bone stock for 3yrs. I wouldn’t have swapped out the wheels had I not switched to 285s but that size tire on a 7” wheel is not at all ideal, in fact, I’d say it is downright sketchy. Just enjoy the sh*t out of yours the way it is and then swap stuff as it wears out.

I debated the RAYS but in the end I went with Black Rhino wheels last week
