Dark Matte Bronze Ray10's on Silver 4Runner

When the stock tires need replacement I am going to lift, replace the wheels and tires so sourcing parts and info in the meantime. Looking at SCS Ray10's in Dark Matte Bronze but not a lot of pics out there of that color on a silver 4Runner. Anyone running that combo and can share some pics so I can get a sense of how that combo will match up?

Thanks for the post. I was browsing through that a little and there are some great and inspiring builds in there. No great way to search for exactly what I am looking for so I was maybe being a bit lazy and posting up a separate thread.

I just got these installed this evening. I saw another silver 4Runner at the end of my street with the gold TRD wheels, which I thought looked decent. That gave me the courage to buy. I think they look great. My wife isn't too keen on the fake beadlock look since the silver is so noticeable, but I can always paint them black.

WOW - that looks really, really good. Thanks for the pics, confirms my choice. What offset did you go with? Incidentally, our trucks look almost exactly the same: same ladder, looks like same rack (Crestone). Where in SE PA are you? I am in western Chester County, a little north of Downingtown.

I went with the -10 offset. They have a -38 too, but I heard that would definitely rub in more places than I'm willing to trim. The -10 looks perfect though, and I wouldn't want it sticking out any further.

I'm out in Montgomery County in Limerick (by the nuke plant). Me and some coworkers go out to lunch out your way at some bar on 113 and 100 called Ron's. I'll have to keep my eye out for a doppleganger next time we head out there lol

Sorry for changing the topic of your post, which roof rack is that, does the wind deflector sit directly on the roof or slightly above. It looks slightly above, if it is, does it vibrate in the wind?

Thanks. For tires I have the Falcon Wildpeak 275s in C load. So far I like them. Not noisy at all and have never had an issue with traction.

That's the Crestone by Sherpa. The deflector connects to the rack only and sits about 1/8" of an inch above the roofline. You can adjust that gap to be as thin or thick as you want. I didn't want any rubbing on the paint, so I kept it high enough where I could get a cleaning rag underneath. It's a great rack - and super easy to install.

Agree with Padraic on the rack. Super easy to install and - most importantly for me - no drill. I don't notice any wind noise but I rarely have the sunroof open. Mine is slightly different in that I have the light bar on mine which results in essentially 2x gaps (1 between truck and deflector and 1 between the deflector and light bar).
