installed my daystar budget boost today v. pics

so when i got off work today i stayed late and installed the 1" inserts. **** those things lol. i found it way easier to completely remove the sway bar. but for whatever reason the passenger side fought me terribly, took an hour to do. and the knuckle swung when i was talking to someone and smacked me in the eye, swelling it and giving me a light black eye :lmao: and then the drivers side took 15 minutes :shrug: did an alignment, caster is out barely and camber is almost out. but didnt have time for a proper alignment so i just did the toe and headed home

initial driving experience has been great, feels the same as factory, but i noticed the front end doesnt seem to nose dive nearly as much going through drainage paths in my neighborhood

Looks good! My Runner is the same color and set up so this gives me a good idea what mine will look like when I get my daystar on.

I had similar results doing it to my mom's, removing the sway bar completely was the best option and the drivers side fought me but the passenger side took no time at all like you said. Truck looks good!

it needs paint, everything else is done now, so hopefully it will get a respray this year. its obd1 and distributor for the time being, so im limited to ~11psi for the time being. should be 330-340 whp. i may collect obd2 parts while its getting paint and when im obd2 i will up the boost to 18psi or so. try to get to 450whp and call it a day

****ING SEX. still my favorite car, but too much of a money pit to get now, which is funny, because I want an E30 haha. I think the hp you have now is plenty, if not too much for FWD anyway. I had a mk3 GTI, vr6 too, with just exhaust and intake, which is all that car needs to enjoy the sex noise it puts out haha.
