Installed: Rola low-profile mounts on 5th Gen

I stupid questions, but does the basket come with its own mounts and will it fit with the stock rail or you have to order a different mount else where. If you order different mount where can I get the mount where you use:deadhorse:.

The mounts that come with it are for factory (or other) crossbars. The link to the low-profile mount is in the original post, above.

I'm wondering if you can help me with something. 4xInnovations.com also has brackets, but only tested on the 4th Gen. I'm wondering if you think these will fit on the 5th Gen since you've already gone through the install. The vendor is willing to let me test fit his brackets and if they don't fit, will let me return to him. I wanted you to check it out because I am not handy at all, so I figured you'd have more insight. For reference, although my basket has the extension, the shark fin is also inside my last bar on the rack. Here's a link to his brackets:

And here's a pic of my truck with rack on it currently. Let me know your thoughts.

Those are the exact brackets that I used (they are linked above in the original post), and are shown in the pictures in this thread. Am I missing something about your question?

Mannn, nope you're not missing anything. It's me, reading forums on my phone at work and for some reason thinking you bought brackets from elsewhere. So there's my answer, they work, they're just sturdy as mounting on the crossbars, but just flip them over backwards, right? Man, I'm nuts...is it Friday yet???

I mounted it the original way and just got spacers. Its only an inch off the roof line.notice how the bottom of the roof rack is below thecrossbars.

Also, do you think the extension will fit on the '17 4Runner SR5 premium?

If you are referring to the rola rack extension, it will fit but if you have a sunroof it will cover a portion of it
 
Really like the low profile setup of these mounts and this basket.

Since this rack is fairly heavy at 38 lbs, does that bother anyone or is it a non-issue other than when taking it on and off? Aluminum would be nice but more $$$ of course.

Are there any other baskets that are known to work with these low profile mounts?

More pics if anyone care to share would be great!
