One thing I am really missing that my 13 Tacoma has is the ability to listen to my music and such via my head unit in the 4R. I wanted to get something that totally integrates with the NAV and BT.
I decided on the VaisTech after reading some really good reviews. They only make products for Toyota and Lexus. You must remove the head unit to get to the plugs, but everything is plug and play.

Everything works perfect such as the steering wheel controls, BT etc. It has a USB plug on it so I am able to charge my iPhone as well.

I really contemplated on using the interface adapter that Toyota sells but had a hard time finding some exact info I wanted to know.

Anybody looking to have this capability should take a look at this.

Hey what emulation mode did you have to use to get this to work? I've got the same 4R -- a 2008 ltd V8 4wd thus with the nav head unit and the 4 disc changer behind the faceplate.

Got my new SLB3-T wired up but can't get any of the emulation modes to respond. iPhone X pairs fine with the device but no sound and the disc/aux button for selecting the mode doesn't respond at all.
