I like it. It's held up really well. If you want to keep this low profile look I would recommend it again.
I have gone up to 285s and due to the amount of trimming I had to do, and future plans I wish I had gone with a full bumper and not just this low profile one. If I could go back I would pick between the Domello (4 RUNNER BUMPERS - Demello Offroad) or the Lil' B's (03-09 4th Gen 4Runner Front Bumper
– Lil B's Fab)
Luckily I have another v8 I won't be wheeling too the same degree with so I may move this to that one and upgrade my front. That would be after a rear swingout and at least a rear locker so that's a ways off.

[MENTION=134300]taxzz[/MENTION] would you happen to have a pic underneath of how the bottom rear of bumper looks and ties into the bottom rear of the plastic bumper and the lines? I can’t really find pics under anywhere. The couple I did araen’t consistent.
I have one on order, same as yours’. I have a set of RCI skids on order as well and wondering if I need to order the front bumper filler plate for the void behind bumper under radiator and How they’ll tie into each other. It says only works with stock but wondering if I could make it work if needed?

I definitely appreciate it and I hear you there on life. I’ve had my bumper in for a few weeks now along with all everything to redo my front end and not sure how soon I’ll be able to get after it.
Thank you for the pics, definitely helps me see what’s going on under there to plan for it.

I was just looking at the instructions for installing this. Did you have to remove the bottom grill? Asking because this picture shows cuts to the bumper, but not the grill on the 4th gens....

I imagine by “bottom grill,” he meant the part that’s in the bumper, not the one that’s part of the hood. It has to go per this image from V4x4’s site.

So you can do either. You'll have to remove the bumper for the install. You can either just cut all the way through the lower "grill" or just make the cut on the bumper and then it just pops out

you don't have to remove the bumper, I didn't. But you do have to cut the lower valance and the black 'grill' part out.
