Installing a Pioneed AVH-2300D in a 2004 4runner w/JBL, any precautions?

Hello everyone. I am installing a Pioneer AVH-2300DVD into a 2004 Toyota 4runner LE, No Nav, with JBL. I purchased a PAC TATO and the PAC-SWI

Are there any precautions I should take? I know some cars have problems with SRS lights turning on, after unplugging the battery and such.

I also read that we should turn up the factory JBL stereo to -40 before uninstalling the stereo.

So here is my plan.
1) Turn up the stereo to -40
2) Turn off the car, unplug the battery
3) Follow these instructions on pulling apart the Dash

4) Wire up the Headunit with PAC TATO and the SWI PAC
5) Put the head unit in
6) Plug in the battery
7) Program the SWI(steering wheel control)
8) Put the rest of the Console back together

Do I have my steps in the right order?

Make sure to check the fade as well. Also, ensure the PAC adapter's gain is set to at least 50%. I actually had to increase mine to 75% to get the volume up.

in every case of aftermarket head units, never use the factory ground location. find a good ground direct to metal as short as possible

I used METRA components and it was basically the same thing, but a little cheaper.
