The colors should be the same, I don't know where you are seeing Lexus only. I am using one on my 4runner right now so I know it works, it will have a manual with instructions and the 4runner is on that list.

Ok, the transponder immobilizer you used juiceboxer is different than this one. Will this transponder immobilizer work just as good as the one you bought? This is the one I found and told my friend about. He went ahead and ordered it before I got a chance to 100% confirm with you guys that it will work with his 4Runner. So I hope this is the right one.

Yes that bypass will work. It will require splicing extra wires but it will definitely work.
