Installing Android Tablet with CarPlay - Can’t figure out mounting

I am installing an android tablet to run CarPlay on in my 4R. But can’t figure out how to mount? It’s a perfect left to right fit but as soon as I give it gas or brake the tablet will fly. Any ideas?

Ive been using these for years for hold iPhones in my previous vehicles. People even use them to hold electronics on motorcycles.

Dude...you really should check out the T9 Anroid based headunit. It is sub $500 and is about as factory looking as you can get with a big ole screen.

This. Or any aftermarket stereo that supports CarPlay/Android Auto.

I just upgraded to a Sony XAV-AX7000 and the sound is awesome. Very happy with it. Lightyears ahead of the stock stereo.

IMHO that may be the worst place to mount anything. I wouldn't want that much of my usable sight line taken up by a tablet...
