Installing Fridge Power Kills Remote Door locks

Yeah I had thought about the cover before this. Funny thing is if I would have just bought it then I would have never known.

Anyways the cover is pretty nice and I am happy just wanted to make sure anyone else who may have the problem has a solution.

Now back to drawers and slide.

I wonder if the manufacturer did any noise / interference testing. Granted door lock issues are minor, but there are other potential issues that could be more serious.

Im glad you said something because the issue had me scratching my head as well. However, damn you! Now I must too buy the cover. haha Thanks again good luck with the drawers.

this is hilarious. Just installed my Dometic cfx40 and noticed the same thing but was actually searching the forum to see if there was any problem with installing the fridge to my blue sea fuse block instead of directly to the battery. Both answered! Love this site

Glad I found this thread as I'm having the same issue even with the cover. I'll try some foil between the cover and fridge to see if that works. If it doesn't I'll see if moving the fridge over to the passengers side will help.

are you guys running OEM batteries or non-agm batteries? IF so, you will experience what you are experience. Non-AGM batteries don't like constant draw, and don't like to be discharged past a certain point, leading to weird symptoms, and possible battery damage.

If you are running AGM batteries, please ignore what I just stated, and carry on.

Interesting, as my runner is only a year old and I just recently started running the fridge in it.
