Installing HID's. help

My 3000k fog light hids just got here and i began reading the instructions on how to install them, and tell me if i'm wrong but if you've done the fog light as DRL mod, do you need a new relay?

Can you not have fog lights as DRL's if you upgrade them to HID's?

any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Relays are always better but the initial amperage with the newer charging HID systems has been greatly reduced. I'd try going direct and if you have problems add the relay.
