Installing lift soon, couple questions

They might sell them, but they will cost a bit. Just call some stores and see if they have them. It's not the end of the world if they aren't the Tundra's.

Hey guys I was installing my new Tundra 5100s (same ones from rickashays thread) and noticed they don't fit onto the old shock location anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I just did this. What exactly isn't fitting? Do you mean the eye of the shock wont line up at the bottom?

That's exactly what I was talking about, but after looking further in Rickashays thread I realized I need the .75" bushings instead of the .5" that come on the shock

Everything lined up when I did mine, and I didn't replace any shock bushing. Front or rear?

The front tundra 5100s don't have an issue with the bushing fitting our truck. If the eyelets on the bottom of the shock wont line up with the mount on the LCA just use a long ⅜ ratchet extension to twist the shock body around. If you don't have that then just find something long and strong enough to get the job done. You'll have to slide a couple of the top plate bolts through the top mount and hand tighten a couple of the nuts down to hold the assembly in place while you twist the shock.

Your talking about the rear 5100s that you have to swap the bushings out on. I don't have those shocks but there are a couple right ups on how to do it if you need to do this....read up on it though because I believe the bushings have changed now and it may be harder to press the smaller bushings out.

Rear doesnt fit, front worked perfectly.

Thanks for the response, I found some bushings from Summit Racing I might buy because DSM where I got my shocks are closed til Jan 2? Really..?? I think a shop press might be able to squeeze out the old bushing but ill definitely check into, I have the fronts installed.
