instrument panel squeaking

Does anyone have the schematic or drawing of how the instrument panel fits together. There is a squeaking sound coming off the instrument panel area. It sounds like styrofoams rubbing with each other.

I rather not have the dealer messing around with my panels and make things worse.

I've had the same problem. If I press on the gage lenses, it stops. I've been thinking about replacing my scratched up lenses & hopefully stop the squeak along the way.

If anyone has directions to remove/replace lenses, please post.

gflurry, that's exactly the problem I have. It's not loud enough to frustrate me, but just kind of annoying. As long as I turn up the stereo it's fine.

first u take off the bottom part of the panel, which has ur switches and such under the sterring wheel, then after u got that out the way, u pull the guage cluster, its simple, just pull straight out and itll come out. all it is is a plastic frame and styrafoam

Thanks, when I get some free time, I will give it a try and see if I could get rid of the styrofoam rubbing sound.
