People in different areas of the country are going to have different rates. MA has very high insurance rates, so the rate you quoted is not too bad for Massachussetts. You might try some of the different rate searches on line to see if you are getting the best deal. Remember that the best deal may not be the cheapest. The best deal will be a company that will stick with you and not try to cheat you out of anything when you need them, and still keep your rates reasonable.

Wow! Same state; 35 years old; same basic policy, except I carry a rider for an extra $1 million in liability because my job requires it. I pay about $100 more than you per year, which isn't bad considering the extra liability coverage. West Virginia's rates are among the highest in the nation.

Very dependent on location, age, marital status, driving record, and lots of other factors (heard that some insurance companies are now factoring in your credit rating, too).

For full coverage, 100/300/100 coverage, $250 comprehensive deductible, $500 collision deductible, we are paying less than $750/year.

I'm 29 living in the suburbs of chicago. I pay $650 a year -full coverage, with a $250 deductable. No accidents since 1994 and no tickets since 1995. A lot of places look at your credit score when determining your rates. Also consider, multi-car and multi-policy(homeowners) discounts also.
