For the DIY'ers who want to keep those exhaust gasses flowing....could be a cheap solution. Not needed on the headers obviously but might be good for the Y-pipe and the rest of the exhaust.

I've run this way on another vehicle and the rich fuel smell out of the exhaust was nasty IMHO.

Ordered a set of headers and three MagnaFlow universal cats from Burtman and they shipped the following day. He was extremely responsive via text and provided superb service. His pricing is also unheard of. I will for sure be contacting him before I purchase anymore parts for the 4runner.

Nice. You know you can pass emissions with just one cat. Good looking out for the environment thought. Question for you, and not to get off topic but, how do you like your Weathertech window visors? I was thinking of picking up a set.

Given the price that Burtman sourced for the cats it was barely any more expensive than buying straight 2.5" piping.

The Weathertech window visors are aesthetically pleasing but they do have their flaws. They are noisy at highway speeds and they do not allow for a good seal with the windows all the way up. I'm not sure if the Toyota OEM version is any different but the Weathertechs simply bend and snap in without any mounts.

I was reading the installation manual and it says to reuse gaskets, O2 sensors and cat converters. Are you all going to replace most if not all parts with new ones?

I will not be reusing gaskets. Will get new ones. As far as o2 sensors...yes, I'll be reusing the old ones.

No cats here. I bought o2 simulators from urd and I'll be welding flanges to the new headers so I can bolt up a new y-pipe instead of welding one on.

FYI. my headers came with the gaskets. Didn't replace anything else (except for studs).

I guess I missed the gaskets in the box. I will look for them when I get home. Anyone in the DMV having this done?
