Interest in TEQ badges for the 5th Gen?

Over the last couple years I have developed some universal TEQ badges and model specific TEQ badges. Recently I have been getting a lot of requests from the 5th Gen crowd to come up with a grill badge. In the past I 3D printed the badges out of ABS plastic. I'm in the process of converting all of my designs to aluminum. I want to machine them in metal with a brushed looked instead of plastic. Seems like the best fit for this application. Since I never released the 5th gen grill in plastic to start I figured it was best to just go straight to metal. I have made one prototype and wanted to know if there would be interest to make a batch of these. The rear hatch emblem has also been developed and will hopefully get some install pics up next weekend. Here is what I have right now. Very happy with the fit and finish. Brad hit it out of the park with these aluminum badges. Took a little longer to mock up the prototypes than either of us expected but well worth the wait.

Brad was fantastic to work with and is great at communicating with his customers.

I highly recommend purchasing a set if you are interested in adding a little JDM flare to your rigs!

I should clarify what my numbers need to be. In order to keep these affordable and in the $40 price range I have to put in batches of 20 at a time. If I can get 10 guys that are seriously interested in one I will probably go ahead and put in an order. Takes about a week before I have them on my front door. They will come in three options. It will be black and silver, red and silver, and bare metal for folks who want to do their own paint scheme.
 
If intent is the the badge goes on the grill, I would prefer one that lets some air get thru like this honeycomb one (hotlinked from your website):

Not as much interest in something like this:

Price around $30 seems pretty reasonable to me.

The air doesn't go through the honeycomb pattern. It's solid. The pattern is sitting on top of a solid piece. I add the pattern to my 3D printed emblems to hide the 3D printing lines. When you print something flat you can see clearly that it is 3D printed which isn't a good look. I designed the honeycomb to hide that. I looked at doing the honeycomb for the metal badges (even though it served no purpose in that application) because I simply liked the look. The issue is that is almost tripped the machining time of the part which almost doubled the cost to make it. I'm trying to keep these in a reasonable price range. The front as is will be around $40 and the rear badge (pics coming soon) will be in the $35 range. I can't open up the backside because the TEQ letters don't mimic the factory sombrero logo at all. You would see the backside of the factory mounting plate for the sombrero through the TEQ letters which would look really bad. I have made a LOT of TEQ badges and tried out a LOT of different background options and I eventually realized that a solid flat badge was the best/cleanest look I could go with.
 
So it looks like I'm really close to 10 solid guys interested. I will probably be up and over 10 by the end of the day so I will probably put in an order for 20 front and 20 rear TEQ badges this evening. Will be 1-2 weeks before I have them in my hands and I will immediately get them posted on my website Products | BH3D Printing. I wont be taking any early pre-orders or taking any money until I have the products ready to ship. I like to make sure everything is perfect on my products and ready to ship before I start taking orders on it.

very cool. i'm assuming you will drop a note in here letting us know they are ready to buy?
