**opps, I meant exterior rust on the inside of that frame. Not interior rust. ��

I bought a 2005 4Runner with 130k. I live in CO but this thing had spent time in Minesota I believe. Because of that, there is some rust underneath on the frame and other parts. Nothing to worry about, but more than we see in CO. Since we'll keep this car for another 20 I thought I'd go ahead and scrape underneath all over, spray on rust stopper and then spray undercoating to it and high temp paint in other areas like on the exhaust. Probably not necessary, but easy to do.
So here is my question as I am new again to Toyotas since the early 90's... With rain on the road the car will come back and in the garage on the floor there are small drops of very rusty water. This is right between the front and back door on the passenger side about 8-12 inches from the outside in the floor. From being under there, looks like it is where there are holes in the frame that stretches from front to back.
Anyone else ever dealt with this? I'd figure it'd make sense to get a hose on a bottle of rust stopper and spray it in there pretty good, wait a few days and do the same with undercoat or paint. Plugging it seems to be unwise as the water would sit in there.
Thoughts?
