Interior detailing

I have used armour all, turtle wax and all the others for my dash and other plastic on the interior of my vehicles. It looked great, for about a DAY, then the dust settled. Then I would have 1 inch of dust on a sticky surface. I got this idea from a friend and it has seemed to work well.

I went to the local dollar store and bought the $1 furniture polish. I recently used it to wipe down my interior. It even removed most scuffs on the plastic. I did it aprox. 1 week ago, and no DUST. I just want to know what ne one else thinks, and could this cause problems in the future. Thanks in advance for all of your opinons.

Only thing I'd be worried about is if the furniture polish would dry out the dash causing it to crack or fade.

303 Aerospace is safe for the dash.

Wasn't it armor all that had that very same issue? Cracked dashes?

I've heard the very same thing and seen the same thing happen to my buddy's dad's car who used Armor All religiously. Since then, they abandon Armor All and used leather conditioner on the dash. Too shiney and reflective for my liking and mad glare on the windshield.

I use 303 Aerospace on the dash and vinyl in the car. If you wipe off the dash and vinyl after it is applied it wipes off to a satin finish, which I like it.

I just started using Pinnacle leather and vinyl cleaner and Pinnacle Leather conditioner and it does a very nice job of cleaning and conditioning the leather in my truck.

i first use swifter pads to get all that dust, pollen, and whatever on dashboards, stereo, speedometer, all side doors, shiftknob area, consoles, etc. Then i use Meguiars Interior Detailing Kit with a face towel.
