Interior light bulb replacements

Hey all, I have been making progress on our '99 T4R's repairs but I have a basic question.

1. On the radio the display backlight is out and needs replaced, where can I find this bulb for sale. It has no markings and is obviously blown and the culprit.

2. On the driver side window switches the word "auto" illuminates when the lights are on, but only 1 of the two light up. Since they work, i'd hate to replace the entire functioning switch, I would prefer to attempt to replace the bulb. This appears to be a little more difficult and require greater precision, but I think I can solider a new one in (At least take a shot at it).

Radio Shack no longer has stores in these parts, what bulbs are these and who knows where I can get them?

No clue about number 1 but I know for your number two, that only the drivers side "auto" lights up on the window switch. There is physically no bulb on the passenger window "auto" button.

This.

Drove me crazy driving her home from PA to IL. Googled it and realized that the driver AUTO is supposed to light up and the passenger AUTO on the driver panel isn't. Toyota is amazing but they can't be perfect.

The backlight of stereo is lit with little LEDs. My 2000 was out when I bought it and it is basically irreparable.

On my 99, both drivers and passenger AUTO lites illuminate, although your saying "both" light up but it sounds like your talking about the driver's side switch. It's barely noticeable on the passenger side. Since they are LEDs under there, I highly doubt they are blown out.

So you're saying the switch physically on the passenger side of the vehicle has a light?

I knew the passenger switch on the drivers side doesn't have a bulb, but I don't spend enough time in my passenger seat to notice
 
I doubt that stereo bulb is included, but there's a great post with almost all the dash bulbs and part #'s included. I have several out and as well so hopefully someone will put a link to that thread with the list.

Question 1

As far as replacing the LCD bulb, you're going to have to be a robot, out a professional solderer.
I for one am neither, which is why I've been riding around with no lights behind the entire radio...

I planned to replace all dash and interior bulbs with LED's, and successfully did so, in everything but the radio.
I bought a bunch of T3 LED's, separated the bulbs from the bases, and attempted to replace all the radio button backlights.

Sloppy soldering then led to frying something in the head unit when I plugged it back in.
Now, no lights work in the radio and replacing the faceplate is useless. I need a new head unit for lights to work again.

The LCD backlights are near impossible to get to. They are located behind a soldered metal cover and plastic frame. There's essentially no way to replace them...

This is the radio faceplate circuit board. 5 button backlight LED's and 2 LCD bulbs behind the white plastic cover on both sides of the LCD.

These are all the soldered in pins holding in the LCD screen which holds down the plastic cover for the LCD bulbs.

I'd just buy a new faceplate and stick it on there.

I am glad I found this before I tried...I was hoping to buy a new receiver for my wife's 2000, swap her dash LED's to white, then put her stock stereo in my 1999....but I want white as well so I thought maybe I'd go for changing the bulbs on the stereo....dang, I might be stuck with green, not terrible but...
