Interior Lighting Converted to LED (Many PICS)

I'm still not sold on the interior lights, i may do the doors but from what i've read the map lights and dome lights are a pain!

Map & dome lights are probably the easiest to change, hell they're all pretty simple to change. Get a small flat head and they pop off in two seconds.

im ordering some blue led dome lights from oznium they should look pretty sick after i install my kenwood head unit that is blue. i think the orange and blue theme will look sick!

this one shows the mismatch when using 20% tint. thinking about putting 35% on the rest to balance out more:

If you were to take that same picture again, but with both passenger side windows down, your 20% tint will look like a perfect match. Have you ever noticed that the tint on the front two windows looks darker than the other windows when you're on the inside looking out? That's why your front window looks darker than the rear in your picture--because you are looking at it from the outside, but with the passenger side glass behind it. If you put down both passenger side windows and take the picture again, I bet it will be a much better match.

good point...all the more reason to do the whole rear. do you think 50% or 35% would be better? I also took a look at the warranty and it says 15%. Im going to call them and see if they really put 15 when they told me 20.

I have 20% on mine and it seems to match perfectly.

I need to get some pictures of mine, but I also did 20% on the front and its perfect. From the inside you can tell the difference between the OEM glass and the tinted windows, because they have a different base color. It actually looks like the back isnt tinted (clear looking out), while the front is (darker). But from the outside they look the same.

Can someone point me in the right direction for the 194 bulbs? I see a bunch of different shapes and number of LEDs. V-LEDS is sold out of what J.A. used so I cant see the picture. Has anyone else tried another vendor?

Just use this, its what i did today..plenty bright enough.

So I just converted all of my lights to LEDs, finally. It looks awesome! Was expecting for the dome/ cargo lights to be brighter though so Im going to have to order brighter ones!

does anyone know which bulb I need for my running boards?

You can use the 168/ 194 bulb for the running boards, license plate, map lights, and door lights.

Most people don't want to pay $60 for two dome lights, but I have them and it's worth it. I feel like I get a tan whenever I get into my truck. :banana:
