interior lighting

anyone know how to change the interior lighting in the T4R? im not really feeling the green color in my car and wanted to change everything to bright white or a blue color... any one have any idea on how to do it or where to do it and how much it might be?

i change some of my interior lights to white LEDs. dome light (2 LEDs), climate control (1 LED), cigerette condom (1 LED), and shift knob (2 LEDs). it's pretty simple. the only hard part is taking the center console out. just need the time to do it. LEDs usually run around $1-2. i got mine at autodirectsave.com which was 20 LEDs for $21. it's pre-wired along with a resistor so it's just plug-and-play.

so basically everything thats behind the gauges, a/c panel, transmission. etc is all LED light bulbs?

a/c panel are LEDs, shift knob are actual bulbs. which is '194' bulbs. picture is shown below. behind gauges are 3 '194' bulbs. umm. turn blinker signals on the gauge are LEDs. almost everything is either LED or 194 bulb. which are your corner lights bulb.

sweet.... how about the headunit.... i notice that some people change the lighting color of their headunits........ i actually have an iPod ready Alpine headunit and at night its mostly blue but theres a lil green on it... like around the button text and around the volume knob.... so if i wanted to change it to a white or blue color... do i need an LED or do u know?

i don't think you can change the lights on the head unit. for OEM head units, maybe but for aftermarket one, i don't think you can. if you take out your faceplate, it's flat, so there's barely any room for LEDs on it. but for OEM, i'm too scared to open it up, might ruin something. might as well buy a new aftermarket headunit, i got a Panasonic on my T4R and very happy with it
