Interior lights

I been looking for help to make this mod. I would like my interior lights to come on when I unlock my car. Does anyone know how to do it. Thank you for help in advance

You probably could (in theory) tap into the power for the door locks and run it to a time delay relay and then run that relay out to your interior lights. That seems like it would be a ton of work though. If anything, you could put some new lights such as LED bolt lights on the pillars and wire them to a time delay. I get the point of your mod, it would be nice to see inside your cab before entering your vehicle. I would try the bolts or strip lighting for that purpose.

This is the type of relay you would want to look for. I'm planning on using something similar for my cornering lights

Great thought of the delay relay. I would use the lock power to trigger the relay. I would use the contacts of the relay to mimic a door switch with a latching relay so when times up it opens up. This way your dome lights will kick on and you can run a wire over to the map lights to activate them as well if you wish.
