Interior swap?

Just curious if anyone has ever done a full interior swap? As in brown to grey? Leather to not? I'm weighing possible next rides, and really love the Golden Pearl, but it only comes with the oak and leather interior. On the other hand, I love the grey cloth in the sport with the silver bezels. Thinking of getting the Golden pearl then find a donor vehicle and swap the interior out. Pain in the ass? Any one interested in doing a straight swap?

That's what I was thinking. I did come across a much older thread about a guy who changed the color of his interior, to black, by painting and dying(not trying that, want it to look stock) and it didn't look like it was too difficult to pull the dash, thoughnhe had a couple days where it wasn't safe to drive.


Anyone got a link to their thread or know someone who just did a swap? Did you change annoying up while you had everything out? Sound damping? Thicker carpet padding?

just wanted to revive this thread and see if anyone has done this yet? was thinking about dying the dash black but replacing all the other panels. whats the going rate for these kinds of panels (and carpet) at the yard?

I did a full swap from grey to tan interior, the 3rd gen interior is super easy to take apart and put together, including the dash, the whole truck you basically just start at the bottom and work your way up, it does help to have a second set of hands around to move stuff around, but it isn't 100% necessary.

I believe its called Dorado gold pearl.
