Recently, my '99 4Runner has been getting on my nerves..
The seat belt light in the dash will come on frequently while buckled in. If I pick myself up from the seat, it goes out. Sit back down, it comes back flashing.
It happens in park and in gear. If I sit up and down a few times I can get it to go off for a while.
Does the issue lie within the pressure switch in the seat, or the wiring coming from the buckle? Or something different?
I've wiggled the wires that go into the buckle, but no change.
When the seatbelt light is flashing, and if I were to get in an accident, would the airbag go off?? Or does that only apply to the passenger seat?
Any advice is welcome!
