Introduction...

Hi, folks. I didn't see a specific "introductions" section so I thought I'd just jump on here and post an intro.

I was directed to this site from one of my other internet hangouts, Expedition Portals. With all the Toyotas over there I'm sure I'll see a lot of familiar faces here!

Because I came over from ExPo I decided to keep the same user name but I also post at ADVRider.com and Colorado4x4.org under the name "Zapp Branigan."

I just bought a '99 4runner SR5 and so far I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Like any 10 year old vehicle, it's got a few "issues" that my previous vehicle (an '04 Tacoma) didn't have, but I'm getting around to fixing them, slowly but surely.

Anyway, great to be here, this forum seems like a good source of info.

Not anything serious - just the kind of minor little annoyances you'd get with a 10 year old/117k mile vehicle. I'll post them up in the 3rd gen board since most of the info I'm likely to need is probably 3rd gen specific.

Otherwise it's a great vehicle! Love it!
