iPhone 3G cable

Does anyone know if there are cables that would allow me to use the iPhone 3G with my Scion head unit? It seems that Apple changed the pin layout because my current one will work with the iPod Classic but when I plug in the iPhone 3G it tells me that the current cable was not designed for it.

Yeah, apple changed the cable power specs for the 3G's. As far as I know, 3G's will only charge with a USB cable. I'm not familiar with the scion ipod cables, but if they aren't USB cables, you might be out of luck unless you splice the cable yourself or wait for some 3rd party to make a new cable.

If you are just getting that 'incompatible device' warning, you can usually just press 'no' and it will work
