Dropbox gives you 2GB free. Any pictures AND movies that you make gets uploaded into the cloud. Dropbox is special because as you load more stuff in, it gives you MORE FREE space! I am not used to people giving me free stuff!
So, i use both iCloud and Dropbox.

My incompetence not withstanding, itunes is a PITA. I agree that the infrequency I've had to use it is a plus, I've done IOS updates right on the phone for example, and icloud makes it nearly obsolete if you want it to be, but I still don't like itunes.
Icloud isn't the answer for me as I don't have a dataplan (before your head explodes, take a few deep breaths, lol). I've gotten by just fine using wi-fi at home, work, friends places, etc so far. This was a cost saving measure, data isn't cheap here like it is in the US, or even other provinces with other carrier options.
The not requiring PW's to update apps is a good move, I like to hear that.
I've used itunes on 3 computers with my phone, which I have a feeling is related to my issues. My main computer is a desktop, and I won't be hauling it into the apple store any time soon. Any other ideas? I've been to the apple store once for a solution, and the guy showed me how to back the phone up to icloud, but that doesn't fix my itunes related woes.

You're right I don't want it. Most of the cool features I either already have or they don't work on my device.
Jailbroken 5.1.1 is far more powerful than iOS6 is so why upgrade? If I had a stock OS I'd probably update in a heart beat though and live with the few quirks. I don't use my phones map app because they all suck, I have a dedicated GPS that I use for navigation and the phone is a back up. Also losing the YouTube app is a welcome feature for me.
I personally think the stock YouTube app is crap and the mobile site much faster and higher quality video. I use SBSettings to hide the YouTube app on my Springboard.

Try Jasmine app. I like it better than Youtube app. It is free. I chose to donate to the developer because i like the simple clean interface.

IanB, sorry, i am no expert with iTunes. I just know how it works to make my system work.
But, to note, iTunes is PITA because you made it so when you set it up initially...on 3 machines!

Looks decent, gets great reviews. Idk if I'll be able to break my habit of using safari and the mobile site. I've been using it iOS3, since at the time the native app didn't offer HD video and the mobile site did.

If anyone is interested (probably no one!), then you should know that Koz and I have been arguing/debating for years! He is very enthusiastic about what he owns (to the point of being blinded IMO). I tend to be the devil's advocate in some cases.
