Yes Apple has a better apps selection but the problem is how Apple controls and limits (only apple apps) their use (and nickel and dimes you). Let’s talk about all the functions and features the i5 doesn’t have. Here’s a short list;
No – MicroUSB, MicroSIMM, MicroSD, NFC, HDMI/DLNA, replaceable battery, syncing only – no drag & drop, no phone book integration, can’t change the default browser, barometer, widgets, Adobe flash, limited Bluetooth, wireless charging.

- Actually, despite being just apple only, the app store is bigger with much wider selection for
any given topic. Why do i want apps from an UNKNOWN developer somewhere in China trying to rip me off??? Why would i put myself at risk? Oh yeah, that's right, Android has major security issues with these unknown apps...hell, they just recently clean house in the Market for viral apps (yes, within Market!). From all my years on Android, i have NEVER needed an app outside that of Market because it is too risky.
- Nickel and dime? Sorry,
i rather pay for QUALITY than get "free" viral apps that take my information to China black market!!
- MicroUSB...yeah, that is why your laptop keeps searching for "driver" whenever you insert your phone...and how long does your phone charge? Crap, with USB to my laptop, my Nexus phone takes FOREVER to charge!
- Has your original Li-ion battery gone bad, Koz? No. Why would i need another battery on an average day when my phone can last?? No, this is an "Android" problem, not Apple...certainly not iPhone 5!
You know what is interesting? When an Android maker found a way to make a battery last the whole day, what does he do?? That's right, he makes the battery fully integrated and not removable. That phone is called Razr MAXX. Strange isn't it? So, what on earth is the purpose of a removable battery?
: That's right...only for TWO reasons: ****ty battery life and the need to reboot the damn thing regularly!

the three phones that can last a whole day has no removable battery: iPhone 5, Moto RAZR MAXX, and Nokia 900. Coincidence? Think not.
- Oh my goodness, let's not talk about the crap phonebook that Android 4.0 and 4.1 has! You can't even edit the damn contact without pushing a whole bunch of buttons (some of which hidden!!).
- And yes, iPhones can sync without iTunes for a while now, Koz...you're outdated! Talk about misinformation!
- Actually, if you care to do more reading, there is a reason why Safari is still the best browser. (I have tried them all.) Safari is the ONLY browser that uses an accelerated engine/protocol...this is why no one else can compete with it in terms of speed and smoothness.
- Barometer?! Seriously? Dude, you've been smoking too much of Samsung's crap. WTF would i need a barometer when i have weather app that gives me predictions and actual weather maps?
- Ahh, the neverending Android argument...FLASH. Hint:
Flash is no more! Adobe is no longer updating FLASH...they are NO LONGER DEVELOPING IT. Why? Because it is crap...it eats battery and does NOT shut itself off even when you get out of the browser! Thus, most Android folks shut it off. FLASH is only good on laptops and desktop where there is ample power supply because it is very inefficient. HTML5 is now the preferred and standard.
In fact, Android 4.1 (jellybean) and up is abandoning it. Yes, even GOOGLE is admitting that FLASH is crap!
- Limited BT? Huh? Explain. My BT version is 4.0, same as yours...and i got it before you on the 4S.
- As for back button...hint...it's either in the app if you need it...or just press the HOME button...it will take you back one step.
As for dollar short...you may want to check your ****ty resale value...no dollar lost on my end!
