iPod error 3

I kept getting this message with my 5th gen nano. Since using 3rd gen nano, no error 3.

Interesting... My Nano is 4th Generation and also gets the error 3. My IPod Classic 7th gen does not encounter errors.

Yes.. I get it too. The only thing I have found that works to correct this problem is press the "play/pause" button before you turn off the car. DISCLAIMER-It doesn't work every time but way better than just shutting off the car while the iPod is playing. Still looking for an answer....
