I used the USB in the glove box to connect to the radio once and it worked. Now everytime I plug it in there is an ERROR 3 message displayed on the radio.

Any help? I could just plug it into the audio port, but wanted to lock it in the glove box.

My first post was the exact same question...I was told to do a search as there are a few threads out there.

If there is a moderator out there, maybe we should sticky one of the good threads.

I did a search and under show threads and it didnt show any. I just tried as show posts and found the info. So you have to pause it before turning the truck off. Just tried it and while problem not solved a work around has been discovered.

Thanks

My 7th generation iPod Classic has yet to generate an error. Just plug it in and forget about it (ie no chicken dance work arounds). I get the Error 3 with my Nano.
