Ipod interface

had a ipod after market interface installed was working fine but when i upgraded IPOD to new release won't work anymore. I tried to restore settings but still not working. Anybody had an issue liek this before? Do ihave to modify the interface in my 03 4runner?

what aftermarket interface are you using? i have a
usa-spec and never had any problems even after the update... what ipod are you using?

120GB classic.

USA SPEC PA15-TOY IPOD

Sorry it is the TOY 20.

Cuts out when i am in direct mode. On the dash keeps flashing CD1.

seems strange indeed. have you tried resetting the ipod? it might help. hold down the center button and the "menu" button at the same time for about 5 seconds. you'll get a blank screen and then the apple as it reboots.

i have a similar setup as you and have no issues. try a different ipod in there if you can just to make sure.

Thanks. I tried that to no avail.

I'll try and get somebody's IPOD and see if it is acting up as well.
