Ipod USB browsing issues

I have the upgraded stereo/blue tooth/usb in the 2010 SR5. When I have my Ipod Nano (first generation) connected through the USB in the glovebox, the sound is great. However I am having issues with it and want to see if you're having the same problem. When I have a song playing and I want to scroll through artists, songs, etc, to figure out the next song i want to play, the stereo picks up every song i scroll through and doesn't keep playing the song i had on originally. For example, say I have Everlong playing by Foo Fighters, I'll hit the browse button to get the next song ready, and as I'm scrolling through the artists, the stereo plays every artist i land on in between. That doesn't happen on an ipod when listening through headphones, it'll play the song till u actually select another song and press the middle button. No problem also when using an AUX connection in my previous car.

Anyone else having this problem or not? Also please list which Ipod/generation you have. Thanks

I listen to lots of audiobooks and have that problem was well. I ended up using the aux in port on the dash. The ipod compatability with the stock stereo isnt worth a crap. As soon as I can I will be replacing the stereo.
