I have a 2005 SR5 and want to connect my IPOD Classic to the stereo system, has anyone else done this, and is there a recommended way to go about this?

Which stereo do you have installed? If you have the auxiliary/mp3 input in your console, you can try that.

I have the peripheral electronics Ipod interface in mine. Works great and has full control through the head unit.

I just bought a new head unit and will be selling the interface in about a week. PM me if your interested in it

That's a great idea with the sticky pad. I always throw my iPhone into my cup holder.

Thanks, but it wears out too fast. The rubber case for the ipod grips better and does wear out
