scam. at work I get phone calls multiple times a year from fraudsters impersonating actual law firms stating I have invoices that I have not paid that I need to pay or they will sue me. somehow they know I have signing authority and track my number and even email down
with the increase in online shopping and banking the fraudsters are improving their methods as well. if you've paid then don't worry about it
you need to constantly be monitoring bank statements. I only ever use my visa card never my debit unless I'm at a bank branch. I had my card scammed numerous times, impossible to know where since I use it everywhere. as soon as I spot it I call up visa and they reverse out the charges, I had some interesting charges on my credit card from fraud lol
