Is a 295/75/16 a 34inch tire. Just curious??

I think it's closer to a 33". The calculator says 33.4". Some tires are taller than others so you might come close to 34".
 
would it fit with a 3 inch lift? on my t4r. i know i would probably need to trim but since i dont off road much it wouldnt be necessary to trim. also i would get some spidertrax.
 
Regardless if you offroad or not, some trimming would need to be done. Even simple driving manuevers in a parking lot could lead to serious damage on your fenders with 295's What kind of lift are we talking about. Coilovers or spacers? With a 3" spacer kit I would not recommend the 295's simply because you will experience rubbing not only on the fenders but the uca's as well. Even with 285's you will rub on the mudflaps and uca's without spidertrax. If you run the spidertrax you wont see the rubbing on the uca's but you will still see it on the fenders, especially with 295's.

I was messing around with tires sizes and found that 285/75/17 is very close to a 34" tire. There is only one tire in that size and it is the Nitto Terragrappler.

Toyo also makes a 285/75/17 in the M/T and the A/T as well. The 285 i was talking about is a 285/70/17. The 285/70 is the smallest of the three (285/70, 285/75, and the 295) and you will still see rubbing with this tire depending on the brand. You can always try the two larger tires, but expect some trimming.
 
okay well its a spacer lift and when i get new tires (most likely 285/75/16) i will add spidertrax. has anyone had to trim that had 285 tires?? if so please post pics of what u had to trim. thanks
 
When I had the 3/2" spacer lift I didnt have to trim but I did have to remove the front mudflaps. If you take the mudflaps off and install the spidertrax you will have zero problems.
