Here in Southern Oregon, about 1500', I see Toyota 4WD at everywhere intersection. All 5 Gens in parking lots, old Toyota trucks and T-100s. Looks like 3rd Gen outnumbers us here.

They're everywhere around here. So much so that I don't even pay attention. I only look out for modded ones and those with the "badge". Wilson, you know what I'm talking about.

I see quite a few on my short drive to and from work but as most have pointed out they are mostly stock and mostly poorly taken care of. Very few people take care of their vehicles in NM probably because have of them are stolen.

I want to see more in the bone yard though so I can scoop a few parts when I need them. When they end up there they are gutted immediately or totaled in a DUI accident and still have blood pouring from the A pillars.

There are tons of STOCK 4runners in KC - I think KC is WAY over-index'd in Toyota/Lexus. Tons of 3rd Gen. Probably see 4 every day too/from work and that trip is only 4 miles.

I have seen no less than 15, 200-series land cruisers here as well - now that is a rare bird with I'm guessing <2000 produced in the US this year.

Let me more accurately rephrase this: I see about ten THIRD GENS every day.
I see a lot of every generation all over Austin. (forgot to make that distinction)

I have a 3rd gen 4X4 and see a few around here everyday. The last 2 Winters we have had some good snow falls and I like to get down to the Outer Banks and out on the beach. 4 wheel drive and good tires is all you need here.:surfer:

I havent been to washington, or new mexico, or cali, or the other states mentioned. But I dont see how there could be more than there are in Colorado. When I go back west and visit Ft Collins I get all excited cause there are 4runners and tacomas everywhere you look! Just look how many 4runners are for sale in Denver craigslist

Here in San Diego, driving 30 miles to work, I would say I see at least 30 4Runners of all gen's, on average. There are a zillion out here. Maybe only 1-5% are modified.
