is fifth gen worth the money and why

Picking up our 5th gen on Tuesday. Why? Needed an SUV! Didn't want a "crossover"....and wanted a V6 and a midsize platform. Our choices were 4Runner or Pathfinder. Pathfinder was a really nice truck... and that Nissan motor was fantastic. But the seats SUCKED. No side support whatsoever, it was like sitting on a park bench.
Saw the 4Runner on the internet but didn't go to see it until we sat in a TE at the autoshow. The TE looked so nice, and the interior was so much more comfortable and with higher fit and finish.... only problem was that there were barely any 5th gens for sale in Toronto! I think two limiteds and a TE.... the TE had the lowest kms, and it was a manager's ride (so we are the first owner after 2500km on the truck). We are planning to make it a little more comfortable with a leather steering wheel and Katzkin leather seats. Also some aftermarket wheels/tires down the road.
I should point out that we also drove a 2008 4Runner Limited w/ the V8.... and the 2010 seems like it's lightyears ahead, not only basing this on the cosmetic appeal. The ride is just so much nicer, both the handling and the engine. The interior is much nicer as well.

Thanks! We bought it from Downtown Toyota (in downtown Toronto!). Seemed pretty weird that the only dealer with a TE on autotrader happened to be in downtown Toronto! When we arrived at their dealership the first time, we noticed that there was a new 2011 4Runner TE in the same color... but it had been sold. Most other dealers we drove by either had no 4Runner or one Limited.
This is the listing on autotrader, they haven't taken it down yet. It's listed at Toyota on Front, but that dealer is owned by Downtown:

Well initially they played tough but once they found out we were trading in our 09 F150 FX4 luxury edition (fully loaded minus navigation) for both the 4Runner AND an '11 Tacoma TRD sport w/ leather they were a little bit more open to offers. Initially they wanted our truck + $72,000.... we agreed on our truck + $63,000 (including all accessories listed in my signature for both trucks, as well as electronic rustproofing modules).
They also promised us if we could find a leather steering wheel (since apparently Toyota won't let them order them) they would install it at virtually nothing.

The 5th gen has it's quirks. But if you want a true SUV capable of off-roading, towing, etc....as well as people hauling there aren't any better choices than a 4runner. I originally wanted a used Land Cruiser; but they hold there value so well I could spend less money and get a new 4runner that could still do just about anything I asked of it (not to mention better MPG's). I got a bullet-proof off-road capable SUV with 4WD/ leather/ heated seats/ 6 disc CD/ sunroof for less than $35k. That's pretty hard to beat.
