Is it a Lift Kit? Help plz

Im Faisal and im new to this forum and off roading as well.
Im interested in buying a Toyota Surf 1997 freshly imported from Japan. It has a Zeal PRO-STAFF sticker and moded.

In rear suspension, along the axle, it has a diagonal rod (green color) with an adjuster may be to increase or decrease its length.
It has two brackets welded at the bottom of the cabin with a rod bolted in each. The other end of these rods is bolted to the side member of the chassis.

It also has a vaccum boost guage and a BCC fitted in the dash. A free wheeling hub, recaro leather seats, 17" wheels with Dunlop AT-80 265/65-17 tyre. 1KZ-TE 3.0 D engine.

My questions may be v basic for u all pros but please help:
a. What is this diagonal rod and why it has an adjuster.
b. What are these short rods doing.
c. Is the quality of welding OK. The finish is not clean, Japaneses mod may be such
d. Should i choose a truck with free wheeling hub? Heard it has its own problems
e. What this device with few buttons and BCC written does.

In the last pic it looks like a coil spring ?
If the rear has coil spring suspension the green bar would make sense if it went from the axle on one side to the frame on the other. I can't think of what it would be for running from one side of the axle to the other.

If you can post more pics of the rear axle and suspension I might be able to tell more.

As for the bars from body floor to frame, I don't know.

Those bars from body to frame.

Welds don't look to good.
Looks like they burned through the thin body sheet metal on the one side.
Also, one is round and the other is flat ? (looks like a leaf spring)

Whether or not free wheeling hubs are useful depends on the type of 4WD system truck has.

For a patr-time system locking (free wheeling) hubs reduce friction, drag, and wear when in 2WD.

Green rod is the left end of the rod, other end is also bolted with the axle but slightly hgher. Zeal PRO-STAFF site is in japanese it also has the pics of the similar lift accessories.

I would get those welds looked at . It does not look like a good job of welding at all , just to be safe.

I am pretty sure that Green Rod is an "Adjustable Pan-hard bar". its adjustable to line up the rear end. helps to keep from Dog tracking. When a "car" is lowered or raised, the back in shifts left or right, and the adjustable part compensates for that movement.

Look at the drawing again.
It goes from one side of the axle to the other.
A pan-hard rod goes from one side of the axle to the frame on the other side.

I'm not sure that his little sketch is drawn right. Looking at the actual photograph it looks like axle on one end and frame/upper bar on the other.

yes it is a pan head rod, Sketch is a little inaccurate. it is bolted with the frame on the otherside. (As in the pics)
