Is it ok for snow to be packed inside the Engine Skid Plate

Is it ok for snow to be packed inside the Engine Skid Plate? A van got very close to me in a 2 lane road and I was forced to dive my car into a mountain of snow (Michigan). I noticed there's a lot of snow inside the skid plate and it's gonna be stuck there until it gets warm enough for it to melt.

I am not sure what goes on under there. Will that harm my car in any way? Well I know rust might occur but I got my car undercoated with POR 15 in the fall then sprayed Fluid Film.

You'll be fine... The heat of the engine will melt it off anyways.

No problem in 95% of areas. Only issue is it can block air flow and freeze up the front of a radiator. Surprisingly, it can stay on the radiator face for a long time. Also can melt and re-freeze in brakes and suspension components. Usually requires the amount from playing hard in deep snow then driving so the air flow keeps it cold. Never had it pile up enough even in normal driving even in blizzard conditions to block air flow to the extent of over heating.
