Is it ridiculous to lift a worn out 2nd Gen?

Hi there new to the forum and have really enjoyed it. I recently bought a 1990 runner with 350,000 miles on it. I really would like to lift it and put bigger tires on it but am not sure it would be worth it with such high mileage? Any opinions would be appreciated.

Is this a daily driver or strictly a play toy?

As long as it runs and drives good, do what ever you want to it.

I guess that settles it. I do really like the truck and I guess that is what matters in the end. Thanks for your input.

Harv, I have 325,000, im lifting mine. End of story. Enjoy! :D

You need to hurry up! haha

OP: If you love the truck, and want to lift it, lift the **** out of it. If you're worried about mileage and if the engine goes.. just do what Bob or Gonover did, drop a big ass chevy engine in her. :)
