I have a 2002 with roughly 140,000 miles on it. My truck's brakes are getting air in the lines weekly, causing popping from the front calipers.
One thing to mention is that I have converted to Tundra 231mm calipers.
I also get the brake booster sound, which sounds like a goose under the dash. But I'm thinking my brake booster is fine, that the master cylinder is causing the BB to act up.
As it is a 2002, I do not have the old style hydraulic MC, it is the newer one that has the VSC/TRAC integrated.
I'm not taking any brake fluid loss, as the fluid has sat at the full line for the past month, and the issue has been a month long.
When I'm stopped, I can depress the brake pedal and hear the booster engage.
I know master cylinders are not cheap, so I would like some suggestions and information on how to pinpoint the issue.
