Is my T4R supposed to beep when i leave the lights on?

Is this an option? If i leave the lights on and turn the car off and open the door it doesn't beep or chime to let me know they are on. The owners manual mentioned they will automatically turn off after 3mins or so, but nothing about a chime.

When you leave your lights on and remove the key, the lights will turn off at a preset time, but no chime.

If you leave your keys in the ignition, the vehicle will remind you with a chime.

i can't believe it doesn't warn you that the lights are on, never seen that before

Or press the lock button on the key fob twice and it will shut your lights off.

It doesn't warn you because you don't need to be warned. If you leave them on, they will turn off about 30 seconds after you lock the doors.

I can't count how many times someones told me you lights are on as I walk away and how fast they shut their mouths when I double tap the lock on the fob. Quite a few people have told me the wished their vehicles did that.

Yes, the next time you start your vehicle, the lights will come on. We have auto headlights. I can't remember how long the lights will stay on. I timed it once, but don't remember. Age, you know.....!

I also noticed this morning that if you leave the headlights on and let them shutoff automatically, when you return and unlock it, your interior lights will come on. Shut the lights off manually, no inside lights when unlocking.

That can't be... You should have the inside lights on when you unlock no matter what

you're right. it was really early in the am and my front dome led panel has a loose wire or something
