Had to replace my muffler and as a "side effect" did some undercarriage checking.

Is my transmission leaking?
Pan casket, or just drain bolt washer?
Or do i have bigger problem?

My guess is that its leaking from the check plug (allen/hex keyed plug), since it looks like there is a droplet on the actual plug. The best way to check is to wipe the entire pan down with some degreaser or dish soap and then check back in a few hours. With less of a "puddle" on the bottom of the pan, it will be easier to detect the source.

Its most likely transmission fluid based on the location, but just to be sure, you can do a sniff test. ATF is kinda sweet smelling, gear oil from the tcase will smell pretty sulfery and nasty, and engine oil just smells like regular oil.

the pan gasket & bolts look very dry... check bolt has a droplet & is likely loose, try to snug it up & wipe it all clean then watch to see if anything leaks again. my guess is its the check bolt.
