Is the Trd Pro/Off Road transfer case truly manual?

I haven’t climbed under to look due to weather but I was just thinking... Is the manual t case really manual?

I ask because the blinkly light on the dash blinks at different rates when engaging 4x4. Sometime it blinks for a sec or two other times it’s fairly instant.

It is a real lever actuated transfer case but you still have the front axle disconnect that might take a second to engage.

It is a manual lever but still an electronic actuator/disconnect.

Having a manual shifter and not relying on transfer case solenoid s was the primary reason to upgrade to the Trd offroad(trail).
