Is the V8 on the 4runner, land cruiser, sequoia, tundra the same

Has anyone noticed that the hp and torque numbers on the V8 engine are different; the difference in the land cruiser is quiet a lot.

4runner - 260 hp @ 5400 rpm/306 lb.-ft. @ 3400 rpm
Land Cruiser - 275 hp @ 4800 rpm; 332 lb.-ft. @ 3400 rpm
Sequoia - 273 hp @ 5400 rpm; 314 lb.-ft. @ 3400 rpm
Tundra - 271 hp @ 5400 rpm; 313 lb.-ft. @ 3400 rpm

Any reason why?

Yup, all the same. Some are tuned differently. Some have higher or lower power ratings because of how much room is available in the engine bay. I think that i read somewhere that TLC engine bay has more room for less restrictive exhaust system...again, this is what i have heard, not sure if it's fact.

And IMO, i think that car manufacturers do "fudge" the HP/Torque ratings to avoid confusion. For example, a customer cannot say, "why buy a TLC when i can get a 4runner with the same HP/Torque?" Another example: just look at Mercedes AMG. The E55 AMG has the same power as SL55 AMG (according to aftermarket dynos)...but to avoid piss-off SL55 AMG owners, MB rates the SL55 engine with more power in the brochures.
