is this a bad wheel bearing?

Well I tried to feel for that slight play when pushing and pulling in the direction of the axle when the tire was on but didn't notice a damm thing....only when i took off the wheel did i feel some slight play in the axle.

So im guessing this means i need new bearings pressed on?

Also I think i can still reuse my drum shoes since there wasn't any oil on them at all

the photobucket links dont work for me.....
If the brake shoes are dry and still have enough lining left then they will be fine to reuse.
Axles should have some play there to allow for thermal expansion and stuff, but the play should be less then 0.5mm. Anyone with a service manual that can find that spec?

the bearings are sealed and thus should not leak grease, i'd get those replaced.
Also, if you don't see greaso on the other one, try setting the axle on the ground, upright with the backing plate in your hands. Now try to wiggle the plate, pull up with one hand and push down with the other, if you can get a good back and forth wiggle, your bearings should be replaced.
I'm guessing you don't have a press, so yeah, you'll have to find a shop that will do bench work. You'll also have to buy new abs collars ( the ribbed thingy ) they will more than likely get messed up during the procedure.
