Is this a good 4R to buy?

Hey forum,
I am helping my boss out, he is thinking about buy this 1993 4Runner, it has about 220,000 miles on it. Attached is the flyer from craigslist. He is wondering if this is a good year, what kind of gas mileage he can expect. Not a whole lot of offroading, mostly used for his kids to drive around town. The guy selling wants $3250.00.

What do you guys think, buy or pass?

P.S. whas is PS, PB, PW, and PL?

I would say it is Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Locks... the PB I will have to pass.

Not a huge fan of the 2nd gens myself, but if he likes it go for it. Seems a bit steep for me, but the market may be different where you live.

22RE/5speed is the drivetrain to have. When they're stock and running well he can expect 20+ mpg, but that goes down with oversize tires and other mods. $3250 is high, but if the truck is in good mechanical/interior shape and rust free it might be worth it. It should be ok at 220k if the maintenance really has been regular, but if he's not a mechanicy type he oughta take it to a shop or dealership service department for a pre-purchase inspection anyway.

We actually have had the internet for about 1 year now. And Justin Bieber too!! We are moving on up here in the Great State of Idaho. Thanks for the reasponses, my boss chose to go a different route.
