I've owned Thule racks in the past, for carrying my bicycles and they were pretty good. I've seen this basket on a friend's SUV and it's comparable to the Yakima Load Warrior (which is what I have on my Runner).

I also have a Loadwarrior which is expandable to be a Megawarrior. The plus for Yakima is they make a hi-lift jack mounting bracket as well as one for a shovel. I like that I can remove it in 5 minutes. One suggestion though, cable lock it to your factory. Thieves like the racks too.
